Natural Vision Improvement Tips for Computer Users and Others

It is very common for both adults and kids to sit and stare at a TV, Computer, and cell phone for many hours a day.

This plays havoc with our eyes.  We need to become proactive in our vision care…both to improve vision, but also to protect our eyes from modern day stress.

The Rebuild Your Vision System is a natural way to improve and prevent eye problems.

Here is an excerpt from the above mentioned article:

If you use computers frequently or other electronic equipment, you should drink plenty of purified water. The equipment dehydrates the eyes and we don’t see as well when the eyes are dry.

For the computer user, natural vision improvement can be a simple matter of frequently changing your focal point. Look at something small and close to you, such as a button on your shirt. Then shift your focal point to something across the room or outside. You’ll notice when you look back at the screen that things are clearer and the muscles around your eyes feel less strained.

Take a 30 second break, every 15 minutes. Breathe, stretch, tilt your head back and close your eyes. Not only will these things help to improve your eyesight, they will reduce stress, anxiety and frustration. You’ll be more productive, in general.

A Little Eye Exercise History

Dr Bates Eye Exercises
Eye Exercises for Better Vision

Most people are unaware of the need to perform eye exercises.  Do you think this is this something new?
In the Chinese culture, eye exercises have been around for a very long time. And, closer to home, in the 1900′s,  Dr Bates realized and understood the value and success of eye exercises.  Dr Bates is the father of “eye exercises”

Dr Bates realized that by prescribing stronger glasses over time only treated symptoms, and not the actual underlying cause.  So he started eye exercises, that would actually address the problem, not the symptoms.

Eye doctors do learn about natural vision therapy in their schooling however, most doctors go with prescribing glasses only, and do not address any natural vision therapy with their patients.

Today, there are actually about 1500 Optometrists in the U.S.that do specialize using vision therapy.
